City Hall and other city facilities will be closed Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.
Public safety and mission critical operations will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the city's 24-hour emergency number, 918-596-9488.
Residential trash service will not operate on Monday. The citywide collection schedule will change next week: every once-a-week customer moves forward one day.
For example, Monday customers move to Tuesday; Tuesday customers move to Wednesday, etc., finishing with Friday customers being collected on Saturday. For twice-a-week customers, the second collection day moves one day, except for Wednesday/Saturday customers, who will be collected Thursday/Saturday.
The City of Tulsa green waste site at 10401 E. 56th St. North will be closed on Monday, May 27. It will reopen on Tuesday, May 28, and then resume its usual schedule of seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for City holidays.
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be closed on Monday and will reopen on Tuesday to resume its usual schedule. The shelter's usual hours are noon to 5 p.m. on Mondays, noon to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m. The shelter is closed on Sundays and on City holidays.
Tulsa Parks offices and recreation centers will be closed on Monday, May 27. Mohawk and Page Belcher golf courses and the Tulsa Zoo, however, will be open on Monday.
Gilcrease Museum will be closed on Monday according to its usual schedule. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center also will be closed on Monday.
Tulsa Transit will not provide bus service on Memorial Day.
