A Tulsa county judge adjourned jury selection for the trial of Terrico Bethel on Tuesday afternoon.
The delay came because Bethel's lawyer suffered a medical condition. Bethel is on trial for the 2008 murder of businessman Neal Sweeney. Prosecutors allege Sweeney was killed as part of a murder for hire plot. Four other people were arrested in connection to his death.
One of those suspects later committed suicide during a police stand off, another suspect agreed to testify against other suspects.
Jury selection is expected to continue on Wednesday.
