Mayes County crash kills 24-year-old man

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a crash killed a man just east of Locust Grove on Sunday.

Reports show 24-year-old Mark Cozad was driving a Ford F150 and went off of County Road 590 just west of County Road 442 and hit a tree around 11 p.m. on Sunday night. Cozad was trapped in the truck and died at the scene.

Two passengers in the truck were taken to a Tulsa hospital for treatment of their injuries.
