Lufthansa Technik Component Services, headquartered in Tulsa, announced plans to expand its local operations and workforce on Wednesday.

The Lufthansa Technik Group is one of the leading manufacturer-independent providers of technical services for the aviation industry. Over the past year Lufthansa Technik has added substantially to its workforce bringing the total number of employees at this location to 80.

The firm has bundled all its services for the repair and supply of aircraft components and plans to add as many as 90 employees at this location over the next few years.

Lufthansa Technik Chief Executive Product and Services Dr. Thomas Stueger said; “With our expanded service offer in the center of one of the world’s most important aviation markets, we can meet the needs of our customers on site in the Americas even better. For this reason, we definitely see potential for a further expansion of our service portfolio for the American market at this successful location."
