Tulsa police say a man with a suspended license clipped three children Tuesday morning.

Police said 25-year old Thomas Kirk was traveling at a high rate of speed when he went around a school bus and clipped one child, another fell down jumping out of the way. Kirk got out and asked if the kids were okay and tried to leave.

The kids stood in front of his truck so he could not leave. Police arrived and discovered he had a suspended license.

He faces charges of speeding too fast for conditions, driving with a suspended license and no proof of liability insurance.

None of the kids were seriously injured. Jenks school officials said the girls were in the 9th and 10th grades. The girl who was hit went home for the day with her mother and the other went on to school.
