A man wanted in connection with a kidnapping outside an Owasso PetSmart turned himself in to Owasso police on Tuesday evening.
Michael Nelson, 28, turned himself in at the Owasso Police Department around 6 p.m.
Nelson is accused of kidnapping a woman and driving into Osage County where officers say he crashed his car and fled the scene.
According to the police report, the victim told officers that Nelson hit her in the face, head and ribs while they were driving and threatened to kill her and himself.
The victim was treated for injuries sustained in the wreck. Nelson was also treated for his injuries after he turned himself in.
Nelson is being held without bond on kidnapping, domestic assault and battery and threatening a violent act complaints.
