Tulsa police arrested one man after another man was found shot in east Tulsa.
Officers got a call around 4:00 am Thursday, about a man down on the ground in a neighborhood. EMSA took him to St. John Medical Center, and police were later told he'd been shot in the face. The victim, Brandon Cowan, is in critical condition.
No one called police to say they heard any shots fired, so it's not clear how long the victim was there before he was found. According to the police report the victim said he was shot by his girlfriend's son, Colton McGhee.
Police interviewed McGhee who admitted to not liking the victim because he beat his mom but did not admit to shooting him. Police arrested McGhee on one count of shooting with intent to kill.
