Agreed with the concealed carry. And if they find that man who was so crazy as to go to stabbing a person because of a stop, he should be charged with attempted murder. This world seems to be full of crazy people.

I agree with CowBot9000. The police are not here to protect the individual but the community as a whole. At least that is what they will tell you. Purchase a gun and learn how to use it safely. I believe the 5th Amendment is your Permit to Carry. Either way a Judge isnt going to convict you for defending yourself and your family from a maniac.

If the focus of the story is police response why not try to get some answers: when did dispatch receive a call? When was it dispatched and to what officer? why did they take so long? Come on, let's do some reporting!
