FOX23 went to 197th West in Sand Springs Monday night after a Breaking News Report.

We spoke with the chief criminal investigator from the Osage County Sheriff's Department, and this is what we know so far.

A criminal investigator was called to Sand Springs just after 7:30 this evening to investigate a shooting.

A 48-year-old man was shot in the head and EMSA transported him to 177th and Highway 412.

From there, he was life-lighted to St. John's.

Police have a woman in custody for shooting him, and believe she was in a relationship with him.

Authorities are treating this shooting as a domestic fight.

Police told FOX23 she was the one who called 911 after she shot the man, and she was still here when they got to the scene so she is in custody.

As of Monday night around 10:30 p.m., police are still waiting on a search warrant so they can go back inside the house and see what they can find.

It's still very early into the investigation.

Stay with FOX23, we'll keep you updated as things develop.
