Tulsa police found a man shot and killed in north Tulsa on Friday night.
51-year-old Henry Rodgers was found dead with a bullet wound in the torso around 10:00 p.m. Police arrested 63-year-old Perry Hill on murder charges. It happened at East 56th Street North and North Hartford.
Police said an argument involving alcohol happened earlier in the day and then repeated itself again right before the shooting.
“According to witnesses on the scene the victim went to get back into his car during the argument and then turned around to say something when he was shot,” said Tulsa homicide detective David Walker.
Rodger’s girlfriend of five years, Rita Hill, told FOX23 she was with Rodgers at 9:00 and then he left.
“I did not even know where he was going; I am just in shock and it has not hit me yet that he is dead,” said Hill.
On Saturday morning FOX23 went to speak with Hill again.
“I am trying to find his mother and sister,” said Hill. ”I don’t have phone numbers for them because Henry lost his cell phone with all his contacts in it back in August.”
Hill is talking with Rodger’s lawyer to try to find his family members.
