Tulsa police are investigating after a man was found shot in the shoulder early Tuesday morning.

The man was found in the street near west Easton and north Waco. Police say the man originally told them he was shot in a drive-by not far from his home, where he walked to get help.

However, as they investigated inside his house, police say it became clear he was shot inside the home. Three children were inside at the time, but were not hurt.

Officers questioned two women but it's not clear how or if they were involved in the shooting.
