Dwayne Webster was booked Monday morning after police say he opened fired into his family’s home on Kingston Place in North Tulsa.

He’s facing possible charges for domestic abuse, assault with a dangerous weapon, and four counts of shooting with intent to kill.

Cops say the call came out as trouble unknown just before 2:00 a.m. When they arrived on scene, they say Webster’s adult daughter was screaming in the front yard. She allegedly told them her father came home drunk and shot his gun inside the home.

Nearly 20 officers, including tactical officers, responded to the call. A sergeant with the Tulsa Police Department tells FOX23 News he believes it started from an argument regarding the daughter’s boyfriend.

“He just came home and freaked out.”

That’s how Kyle Webster, the suspect’s son says his sister described the scene.

“I think it’s because he’s just tired of her boyfriend to be honest,” he says.

The suspect’s daughter, her boyfriend and two children, and the suspect’s elderly mother were all home when the four shots were fired. Fortunately no one was injured. The two children were able to make a safe escape.

“They were able to escape the residence through a window,” Laurel Ledbetter with the Tulsa Police Department reports. “I think there were maybe some cuts and scrapes that occurred at that time, going through the window.”

EMSA took one child for those minor scrapes, as well as Webster's elderly mother as a precaution.

One neighbor tells FOX23 News reporter Janai Norman that Dwayne Webster does have a temper. So Norman asked Kyle whether his dad has ever been in trouble before.

“No, never, this is first ever,” he says. “I’m 23 years old. I’ve never seen him act like this, or anything at all.”

Police say there was a short standoff before Webster finally gave himself up. After that, officers carried as many as 18 large guns out of the house for “safety reason.”

Lots missing from the police handout: Did he actually shoot at someone, or point at someone? Were the confiscated guns taken from a safe? ..and how will they be accounted for? Were 20+ police and SWAT actually justified or was this overtime padding?
