The boyfriend who faces murder charges in the death of his girlfriend’s toddler has a violent past.

FOX23 News found two other women filed protective orders against him, claiming abuse and that he stalked one woman calling and texting more than 100 times.

“He wouldn’t let me go to the bathroom, he wouldn’t let me eat. He made sit in the room with him and talk. He wouldn’t let me sleep,” said Lisa.

She is 24-year old Scott Bolden's ex-girlfriend. She exclusively told FOX23 News he put 23 bruises on her in one incident.

Court records show Bolden has a pending charge in that assault.

“I had two black eyes, I had knots all over my head. I had a concussion.  I had my head split open right here,” said Lisa.

Because she is domestic violence victim FOX23 News is not releasing her full identity.

A protective order filed in January and granted for five years in February shows Lisa told a judge, Bolden, punched her in the head, face, leg and arms and pulled her hair and strangled her in January.

“The last time he beat me up I could barely move, I had crawled to the bedroom. I had blood everywhere I could barely breathe that’s how bad it was. I could hardly move,” said Lisa.

She says it all happened in front of her four-year-old daughter.

“He kicked me in front of her, this whole side of my body was bruised,” said Lisa.

She says she didn’t want him to hurt her daughter so she would send her daughter to her mother's house. She would lie to her family about the bruises.

“'If you ever leave, I will threaten to kill your family,'” said Lisa. “'I’ll blow up the house if you leave me, I will kill your kid.'”

She eventually left and went to her family for support.

Four months later another woman, Heidi Benjamin, told police she was afraid of Bolden.

“The child can’t get out of the situation by themselves. They are dependent on their mother to protect them,” said Tulsa Police Child Crisis Cpl. Greg Smith

She faces charges on complaints of allowing the abuse. Police say doctors found bruises that were two weeks old on the child. She told detectives she was scared of Bolden and knew he was rough with the child.

“She didn’t take any action to protect the child from future injury,” said Smith.

Smith says they waited at least two hours to call for help. The toddler was rushed to the hospital with bleeding on the brain.

Her child died Friday morning, and the Bolden is accused in the toddler’s death.

“He has not given us a truthful answer how it happened,” said Smith.

Police do not expect the mother to be charged with murder.

“There is no indication she did anything to injure the child and she was probably not present in the room when the fatal injury occurred,” said Smith.

Now, Lisa wants to encourage other victims of abuse to be strong.

“Get away before he hurts you.  Cause it could end up happening like this baby,” said Lisa.

DHA has responded to FOX23 News Open Records request stating Benjamin did not have history with DHS.

The agency says it is still working on reviewing Bolden’s history with DHS.

Benjamin also had an 8-month-child in the home that was taken into DHS custody.
