A bizarre chain of events started when police said they tried to approach a man trying to open car doors at 21st and Yale.

Police said David Ketcher ran from them into a tunnel, got hurt and got stuck.

They said EMSA transported him to St. John’s hospital for a hurt shoulder. Then they said he escaped in a hospital gown and managed to get in an area of Utica Square.

He fell through a ceiling, lost his hospital gown and ended up running naked through Queenies kitchen, police said.

Queenies manager Heather Smither said, ‘’It wasn't the actual restaurant."

Tom Casey said he saw a lot of people and police outside when he looked out his barber shop’s window.

Casey said he saw, “A lot of people scurrying about police cars and security.”

Smither said her bakers called her Thursday, "Come over quickly because there were cops there and someone had run into our basement, had run into our bakery."

Smither said it was the restaurant’s off-site kitchen that’s in Utica Square but not open to the public.

She said she saw her bakers outside the kitchen.

She said, “I was nervous. I was scared and nervous. I wasn't sure what was going on.”

Police said they sent in their police K-9 and were able to take Ketcher into custody.

Ketcher was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail Thursday night.
