Tulsa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man they say was trying to attack two EMSA medics.
Deputies arrested Roger Douglas Dalton on June 11th after getting called to north Tulsa where an EMSA crew had pushed the emergency button.
According to the arrest report, Dalton had his “chest bowed up and charging the EMSA crew by the door.” Deputies said he was swinging his arms at the crew and when they tried to arrest them he ‘squared off on the deputy.’
He was advised to put his hands behind his back or be tasered and complied, but told the deputy, “I can break your neck if I want to.” Deputies took Douglas into custody and EMSA took the patient to custody.
The deputy said Douglas repeatedly said he wanted to ‘kill and sue’ the EMSA crew because he was mad they were trying to take his brother to the hospital when he wanted to help him.
Douglas faces charges of Assault and battery on an emergency medical technician and public drunkenness. No mug shot was taken because he was ‘combative’ according to the arrest report.
