William Kent faces charges of grand larceny, larceny, and larceny from a retailer. Police say he stole a $10,000 Klauz violin from someone at the Saied Music store near 71st and Garnett .

In addition to the 150-year-old violin, police say Kent also stole a Clark White Tin Key Penny Whistle from the store. The victim gave police a good description of the suspect.
