Man arrested for rape

A Tulsa man is in jail, accused of rape.

Police have arrested Jerry Mason. The police report says a woman heard someone knocking on her door around 11 o'clock Monday morning. When she answered, a man stuffed a rag into her mouth and raped her. He then left.

The woman gave police a detailed description, and Mason was taken into custody soon after. His bail is $50,000.

Why didn't they have dna evidence? Didn't they do a rape kit on her? I thought that was standard procedure when a rape was reported and a suspect found. I don't think you can say someone isn't capable of rape because you know him socially or casually, anyone who is arrested for his kind of thing always has at least one friend who swears he would never have done such a thing, even Dahmer and Bundy.

Without DNA evidence, a jury will most likely not convict him anyways. So sit tight Nadgie, the DNA never lies.

If you know Jerry Mason you know he's not capable of this crime.He is a happy go lucky kind of guy and hurting or even abusing someone is just not his character and I...YES I don't believe this woman has the right guy.My thoughts on what I personally know of him is he is being wrongfully charged.He's never hurt a flea literally.
