A man is arrested in
West Tulsa after admitting to police he had done drugs earlier that day. Tulsa Police say they were called to railroad property near
West 41st Street and
Southwest Boulevard around
2:15pm Friday afternoon.
Officers say they issued a citation to David Woods for trespassing and asked him to leave. As Woods walked away, he then tried to get into one of the officer’s patrol cars believing the car was his own. Officers say Woods appeared to be disoriented and was slurring his words. Woods also threw a lit cigarette to the ground and did not try to put it out.
Woods then admitted to police he had smoked “K2”, or synthetic marijuana, and had a beer just before officers arrived. Woods was arrested for public intoxication and for discarding a burning object.
