Local businesses look forward to Black Friday

Black Friday is one of the most anticipated days of the year, by both shoppers and businesses. The National Retail Federation expects  147 million people across the country to be shopping on this one day.  

The holiday season is vital for every retailer, but especially  local businesses. Amy Adkins owns The Gadget Company in Tulsa, she says her store can rake in 40% of their profits for the year from Black Friday to Christmas.

Planning for Black Friday started during the summer. She's stocked up and learned from experience, knowing what the hottest items will be and stocking up for Friday. 

The Gadget Company will open at 10 am on Friday.
