Lion King performers in benefit for Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless

Performers from Disney’s The Lion King National Tour, currently performing at the Tulsa PAC, will host a concert to benefit the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.

The event, “From the Hart,” will be June 24 at 7 p.m. at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

“From the Hart” will feature musical selections from famed composers Cole Porter, The Gershwins and Richard Rodgers & Lorenz Hart. Lion King castmember John Sloan III planned this benefit during a scheduled day off, as part of the Helping Hands Campaign’s second season. The event will also include a silent auction and raffle with one of a kind memorabilia, all proceeds will go directly to benefit the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.

General admission ticket prices are between $30 and $60 and can be purchased at www.okjazz.org. VIP tickets are available for $100 and include a pre-show cocktail reception.
