A quiet neighborhood in Parsons, Kansas is in shock after the bodies of a young mother and her three small children were found inside their home.
A large manhunt ensued for 22-year-old David Cornell Bennett Jr. He was later caught Tuesday evening in Independence, Kansas.
Police believe he had some type of relationship with the young mother.
Cami Umbarger, 29, and her three children, Averie, Jaxon and Hollie were last seen in their mother's black four-door Ford Explorer on Saturday.
The four were found inside their home in Parsons, which is just about two hours away from Tulsa, on Tuesday.
While investigators go over the scene to find any leads as to who may have killed them, authorities are now questioning David Cornell Bennett Jr.
He was captured in Independence, about 45 minutes away from Parsons.
According to our sister station in Kansas, friends say Bennett Jr. and Umbarger knew each other and had met in Independence.
Co-workers of the two say they were unaware that they were having any problems.
Bennett Jr's arrest comes after law enforcement spent hours hunting him down.
Right now it's not clear what charges Bennett Jr. will face.
