New from overnight, an employee was shot at a Midtown Tulsa restaurant.
Police say four men were involved in a robbery at a Kentucky Fried Chicken near 42nd and Peoria late Tuesday night.
We've learned the robbers had all the employees on the ground inside the kitchen when one of them fired shots.
One of those shots hit a man right in the stomach, but police say he was so caught up in what was happening, he didn't even notice until officers pointed it out.
Police tell us the robbers approached an employee when he opened up the back door to take out the trash.
One robber had a knife; the other a gun. They forced that employee to go back inside. Then got the other employees all together, and ordered the manager to open the safe.
At some point, the robber with the gun fired a round, and a bullet hit the employee.
During the robbery, another suspect was standing outside the restaurant and the fourth drove the getaway truck.
The robbers took cash and the employees cell phones.
The employee who got shot will be fine.
Now police are looking for a dark blue pickup truck that was seen speeding away from the area.
