A Jenks student faces charges for allegedly fighting and biting school security guards and police officers on Wednesday.

Jenks police arrested 18-year old Cody Brinkley on two counts of aggravated assault and battery against police, resisting arrest, obstructing an officer and assault and battery of a school employee.

According to the arrest report, a security guard called for police assistance at Jenks High School around 10:30 am. The guard told police he attempted to confiscate Brinkley’s cell phone, but Brinkley failed to comply and shoved the guard before running away.

The guard told police he then found Brinkley in the parking lot trying to get to into a car. The guard told police Brinkley was sweating and short of breath. The guard approached the car with his gun drawn, but holstered it when he realized Brinkley was not armed.

The report alleges Brinkley ignored verbal commands to step away from the car and began walking towards the guard. The guard then used pepper spray twice when he thought Brinkley was going to try and hit him, but told police that did not stop or deter him.

According to the report officers on scene used batons to hit Brinkley in the legs to stop him, but that also did not stop him and it took three officers to take him into custody and handcuff him.

One of the officers was later treated for a bite wound he received from Brinkley.

I know, why dont we BLAME the KID, not his Parents(although i agree they probably werent the best). He is 18 now, so definitely old enough to be held accountable. Some parenting just doesnt work on these people. Lets stop blaming other people and start blaming the actual person that is responsible.

What is wrong with you people that are supporting a kid that goes to school and does not obey the rules? He showed disrespect to the officer, pushed the officer which is assault. Then fled which is truancy. He then fought with officers even biting one of them. And you post comments that the officers are wrong! You know what is wrong, you people are bringing down America!

Quit defending this Punk! He knew the rules and exhibited that he felt he was above them or better than the rest of the "Student Body"! Try him as an adult for Assault on a Police Officer, Resisting and what ever it tales to teach him what "Rules" mean.

School police cant argue he was a threat because they were holding him there against his will and without cause. His only crime was refusing to consent to an illegal seizure, so they peppersprayed and beat him up. I see a major lawsuit coming, with the taxpayers footing the bill.

Over a cell phone? Yes the kid was being disrespectful but was the campus police not Just a little over assertive? Over a cell phone? I believe both child & campus cop need a session of anger management And interpersonal communication. Sad society

All of this is over a cell phone. I blame the parents for this kids lack of respect for authories. With all the school shooting thats happening around the world. This selfish young mans behavior lands him behind bars, because his parents spoiled him with all the good technology of toys, and not the knowledge to respect adults or his peers. I would believe at the age of 18, He's been disrepecting his parents for a long time. Hey Cody, stop being a bully, because i know you have been doing this for a long time. You should have just gave up your phone. Your parents would have bought you another.
