Jenks police searching for person of interest in car burglaries

Jenks police are searching for a person of interest in a series of car burglaries in Jenks.

Police said on August 26 the Jenks Police Department received multiple reports of car burglaries throughout the city.

One of the victims reported their credit cards stolen when their car was broken in to. On August 27 a woman walked into the CVS store at 2351 N. 9th St. in Broken Arrow and used the victim’s stolen credit card to purchase a gift card.

The woman enters the store the first time and the card is declined twice. She exits the store and re-enters a few minutes later when she was able to purchase the gift card.

At this time the woman in the videos and pictures is a person of interest who the Jenks Police Detective would like to speak with.
