A driver is recovering after an accident involving a semi-truck.

It happened just after 9 on Thursday morning on highway 75 between the Creek Turnpike at 111th. Officials say the semi-truck was on the shoulder when the truck sideswiped it on the passenger side.

The driver was taken to the hospital for observation. Traffic was backed up to Main Street in Jenks while the scene was cleared.

Have you thought to yourself that there maybe a problem with the truck? Did you ever consider that the truck driver had no choice but to pull over there do to mechanical failure. Truck drivers will pull into a "TRUCK STOP" or a parking lot that they are permitted to enter when their hours are up. It seems to me that there need to be a better understanding of the commercial vehicle world, So don't open your mouth if you do not understand it.
