The Jay Police Department needs help identifying a robbery suspect.

Investigators tell FOX23 on March 29th about 8:15 p.m. a masked gunman entered the subway at 434 N. Main St. in Jay wearing a black colored ski mask and a dark blue hoodie.

Police say the suspect carried a black colored semi-auto handgun, ordered everyone in the restaurant to the backroom and demanded the manager to retrieve the money from the register. He left through the back door, in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.

Jay police released the attached photos from a surveillance camera positioned in the alley behind the Subway. They say the suspect walked through the alley unmasked before pulling the mask over his face and enters the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES.
