Tulsa fire officials say the remaining two firefighters in the Alexander Burn Center were released Monday afternoon.

Physicians determined the skin grafts were healing properly and both of the firefighters could be discharged to recover at home.

TFD officials say even though the firefighters are out of the hospital, several of them face a long healing and therapy process. There are no estimates on how long it will be before any of the eight firefighters will be allowed to return to work.

Off duty firefighters are helping the injured firefighters and their families with any needs that may come up while they are recovering from their injuries.

The families would like to thank the community for their continued support and prayers as the firefighters recover.
