President Obama is continuing to try and gain support for gun control legislation.
Obama met with the families of victims of the Newtown school shooting and planned a speech about the importance of gun control.
Senator Jim Inhofe is one of five senators threatening to filibuster any new restrictions on guns. The so-called ‘filibuster five’ vow to oppose any legislation they think infringes on the American people’s right to bear arms.
Other members of the filibuster five are Senators Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio.
