Indian Springs in Broken Arrow has been sold again.
The property was auctioned on June 5th, but the auction organizers, Williams & Williams, say the high bidder in the auction chose not to perform obligations set in the contract. The owners decided to hold another auction for the property.
The auction was held on July 10th and the firm representing the sellers of the country club released a statement that the auction was a success.
“Good afternoon, I am Fred Cornish of McAfee and Taft Law Firm here in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. We represent the Sellers of the Indian Springs Country Club and Williams & Williams Auctioneers. We have had a successful re-auction this afternoon and the club has been sold to a group of Oklahoma investors. The former owner, Jim Pharr was a member committed to making Indian Springs a very special place for all golfers and all families who enjoy the Indian Springs atmosphere. The sellers are hopeful that the new owners are going to continue that and make it even better. This was a re-auction and there were a number of bidders who registered and appeared and the sale was concluded in the usual professional way that Williams & Williams conducts these types of sales. The sellers and Williams & Williams are pleased that they have been able to come together and accomplish their goal of finding new stewards for this beautiful property.”
