A Tulsa woman accused of abuse children at a local daycare has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Meredith Howard broke the leg of a 19-month old girl while changing her diaper at John Knox Child Development in 2010. She’s also charged with abuse that happened in 2008 while she worked at the Kirk of the Hills Mother’s Day Out program.
Howard’s pleaded no contest to the charges in November of 2012. Howard was sentenced to 12 years in prison followed by three years of probation. Howard will report to custody on February 25th.
