House fire in West Tulsa is under investigation

FOX23 was at the scene as a fire spread through a house in West Tulsa.

The Tulsa Fire Department responded to a call of a house fire around 8:15 a.m. Sunday. When firefighters arrived at the scene they saw heavy smoke blowing out of the attic and garage area. The crew decided to go in through the front door to start on search and rescue.

The fire tore through a big portion of the house. The garage and the attic are both seriously damaged.
One Tulsa firefighter was taken away with minor injuries.

The Tulsa Fire Department is still investigating the cause of this fire.
