An overnight house fire causes extensive damage to a home in North Tulsa.

this broke out just before 3:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of East 48th Street North.

No one was home at the time.

Firefighters say the fire started in a closet, but they don't know why.

They had trouble reaching the flames because there were bars on the windows.

No one was hurt.

The Red Cross will help the family find a place to stay.
