Washington County Deputies seized 10 horses and 5 dogs from a reported puppy mill last week.
On August 14, deputies were called to an area in Bartlesville after receiving reports of malnourished horses, and the possibilities of a puppy mill.
Deputies met with the property owner who was the owner of the animals who told deputies about the animals on the property.
Deputies did not find a puppy mill, but found the horses and dogs to be in poor condition and the animals were seized. Deputies said the bone structure on the horses indicated the horses were being under fed and needed medical attention.
Animals were taken to local veterinary clinics to be housed until all there medical conditions could be evaluated for further placement with rescue foundations.
Deputies said the case will be forwarded to District Attorney's office.
