A homeless Tulsa man who found and returned stolen property has had his story go viral.

The story was posted on Reddit  by a Tulsa woman who said the homeless man, Rayburn West, found stolen property strewn outside in the rain and gathered it up and returned it to her.

She was so thankful she posted his story online and people recognized him from the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless and urged people to make donations to say thanks.

Sandra Lewis, executive director of the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless said since West’s actions went viral they’ve received more than $4,000 in donations from all over the world, even as far and away as Spain.
