Tulsa City Hall and other city facilities will be closed Thursday, July 4, for Independence Day.
Public safety and mission critical operations will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the City’s 24-hour emergency number, 596-9488.
There will be no residential refuse, recycling, green waste or bulky waste collection services on Thursday, July 4. Tulsa residents whose scheduled service day is Thursday will receive collection service on Friday, July 5. Customers whose scheduled service day is Friday will receive collection service on Saturday, July 6.
The City of Tulsa green waste site at 10401 E. 56th St. North will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and on Sunday, July 7. It will be open on Friday, July 5, and Saturday, July 6. On Monday, July 8, it will resume its usual schedule of seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for City holidays.
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be closed on Thursday and will reopen on Friday to resume its usual schedule. The shelter is open Mondays from noon to 5 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from noon to 6 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m., and is closed on Sundays and City holidays.
Tulsa Parks offices and recreation centers will be closed on July 4, but parks’ outdoor facilities will be open, including all five City park pools according to their normal hours.
Mohawk Park Golf Course and Page Belcher Golf Course will be open on July 4. The Tulsa Zoo and Gilcrease Museum also will be open on July 4. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center will be closed July 4.
Tulsa Transit will not provide bus service on July 4.
