The dog rescued from a Tulsa highway by an OHP trooper has a new home.

Troopers rescued Highway off interstate-44, near memorial last week. She was taken to Tulsa Animal Welfare and her owners came forward but decided not to take her.

Now a FOX23 viewer is Highway’s new owner. She posted on our wall about taking Highway home and posted new pictures of the puppy.

The owner said she plans on keeping the name Highway for the dog.
