Tulsa city crews repaired a water line break near St. Francis hospital on Monday.
The break is on E. 66th Street near S. Darlington. Officials shut the water off for the repair, but the line does not feed the hospital or any of the medical buildings. Only one home and two hydrants were without water pressure.
The break is on a side road that affects a parking garage where doctors and nurses park.
A supervisor with the city said the line broke because pressure was increased at some water pump stations due to the demand and the 12 inch line underneath the street snapped.
Crews expect repairs to the water line to be finished by Monday night, but permanent repairs to the road could take up to a week.
