A hearing is delayed for two people charged with robbing a man before his disappearance in August 2012.
Timothy Hauser disappeared from a Bartlesville casino on August 9, 2012. The 62-year-old was last seen walking out of the casino around 1:30 in the morning with two people.
Osage County investigators say Trysta Shaffer and Rusty Petty were seen on video with Hauser leaving the casino. Investigators also found text messages that revealed the two were planning to rob Hauser. Shaffer and Petty have both been charged with conjoint robbery.
Hauser’s remains were discovered by a hunter in December 2012 just miles outside Bartlesville. Today’s hearing was delayed because the medical examiner’s office has not completed the autopsy report. Prosecutors say they are waiting for the report before possibly adding a murder charge.
Petty and Shaffer are expected to appear in court on March 22nd.
