A hearing scheduled for a Tulsa teen accused of killing his mother has been delayed.
Hank Laird was scheduled to be in court on Thursday but the Assistant District Attorney asked to postpone the hearing because potential witnesses were sick and unable to attend the hearing.
Police say in late January, Laird beat his mother to death with a shotgun. Linda Laird’s body was discovered in her south Tulsa home. Laired has pleaded not guilty.
Laird’s hearing is now scheduled for May 16th.
