Heads up drivers! I-244 road project starts Monday

Your daily commute for the next 14 months is about to take a little longer. At 7 o'clock this morning the left lane and inside shoulder of eastbound I-244 will be closed just west of Memorial Dr. to the US-169 Junction.
The construction is part of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation's $35 million dollar bridge and pavement rehabilitation project ,

Crews will be replacing six bridge decks and more than four miles of pavement.

The project is expected to be complete in 14 months.
