Tulsa, OK- According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, 17 people in Oklahoma have died from the H1N1 virus. Of those, four are from Tulsa County. This tally doesn't reflect the case of a Kay County man, who also died from the swine flu earlier in the year.

The Tulsa Health Department will be offering a walk-in vaccination clinic on Thursday, October 29 at the Tulsa Community College Northeast Campus, located at 3737 E. Apache St., from 3-7 p.m., for certain high-risk individuals.

Those include:

- All children 6 months-18 years

- Pregnant women

- Healthcare workers with direct patient contact to acutely ill

- Custodial parents of infants less than 6 months of age

Tune in for Fox 23 News at 5 for more on ways to prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus.

Melanie Christian, Spokesperson for the Tulsa Health Department, says more of these clinics will likely take place over the next coming weeks.
