Group slams Victory staffers wanting charges dismissed

Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests says it is "ridiculous" John and Charica Daugherty want their Failure to Report Child Abuse charges dismissed. The Daugherty's lawyer said they did not disobey any Oklahoma statutes.

Dragging their foot on this incident is like destroying evidence. No rape test makes it more probable for the criminal to be found not guilty at a jury trial. No test creates reasonable doubt making it possible for all involved to be found not guilty. What a mixed blessing that would be, huh.We need to picket their door every time it's open. Down with child molesters and those who protect them. Calling them a child molester church is a good start. Hopefully this will lead to millions in lawsuits against the church. Take these money changers out of the temple.

This "church" has failed from the get go,the cover-up was orchestrated from the top,the whole lot of this bunch of con artists should be thrown in jail from the pastor to all of her family,this"church" reeks of a get rich scheme dreamed up in some ratty motel room with cigarette burns in the carpet over a 12 pack of cheap beer,to bad they couldn't catch a ride on a comet

PrinceDavid come on...use common sense! It is the individuals that are held accountable....Thats like saying a mcds employee commits an offense and "mcds" has to register. That makes no sense. However, if the employee is not held accountable by their employer, it sure would give "mcds" a bad name!!

Will Victory Christian Center as a whole have to register as a SEX OFFENDER CHURCH? Should VCC be held accountable and made to be responsible and register as a SEX OFFENDER CHURCH according to the same degree they have passed judgement on others? If VCC will be required to register as a SEX OFFENDER CHURCH, will children be allowed on the property or will they be able to interact with children? Is VCC a SEX OFFENDER CHURCH?

Their crime was reporting misconduct to their supervisors instead of calling police. That may be a bad choice, but it is not child abuse. I dont like mega-churches, but I like witch hunts a lot less.
