Governor Henry names Bradford Benson To Judgeship

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Gov. Brad Henry has appointed Bradford L. Benson to an associate district judgeship in Tillman County.
 
Henry chose the 45-year-old Frederick resident from among three candidates whose names were submitted by the Judicial Nominating Commission.
 
Benson succeeds David. A. Barnett, who retired.
 
A former Eagle Scout, Benson has been in private practice for most of his career. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1988 and earned his law degree three years later at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
 
Benson is married and has three children.
