Gov. Fallin signs marriage promotion bill

House Bil 1908 moves money toward a fund directed to create public service announcements that would tell Oklahomans that marriage can reduce your chances of living in poverty.

I find it interesting that there are so many married people that are below the poverty rate in this state. Marriage is not an easy thing. A better way to get people off of government assistance is to encourage businesses to come to our state and maybe help create jobs.
