NO assault weapons were used in the shooting!!! HAND GUNS were used!! Why the sudden concern over assault weapons again? limiting magazine size? Still has nothing to do with the shooting! The kid left the assault rifle in the car. He couldn't buy one, so he killed his mother, took hers, and still didn't use it in the shooting. WAKE UP people.

I'm sympathetic to a point. Let's not get too gushy all of a sudden. Giffords is not the first nor will she be the last survivor of gunfire. In a nation where it is against the law to have a gun then only criminals will have them. USA criminal nation that it was berthed as the cradle of freedom. Bringing a new hope to freedom and independence(not only locally but also world wide) since it's inception. It was all done with guns :-) I doubt if that part is gonna stop. As for me I'm ecstatic just to shoot a camera.

all I have to say is , I dont own a gun dont want a gun , dont need a gun, but I'm glad good honest americans have them, everybody griping about crooked poloticians,what you think they gona stop being crooked after they have all your guns, lol, I think good honest americans owning guns is they only thing keeping some of these poloticians from being to crooked,right now some are only crooked enuf they can hide it , once they have all your guns wont be no reason to hide it anymore, tomas jefferson wrote that thing and even said if we want democrocy to thrive we as americans would have to take a stand from time to time.I have to say I agree with the N.R.A guy on this one .
