Officials evacuated a construction site in Owasso after workers hit a two inch gas pipeline.

It happened around 9:30 Thursday morning at the work site behind the Walmart Supercenter on 96th Street North.

According to officials at the scene, the leak is slow and considered minor.  They walked the perimeter of the site and determined there were no hazards in the air.

They expect to have the leak patched by 10:30 a.m.
