GRDA still searching for missing boater

The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department is still searching Grand Lake waters for a missing Missouri boater.

GRDA has been searching for 40-year old Michael Shane Chapman of Joplin, Missouri since he was first reported missing on Sunday, January 27. Searchers have been concentrating on an area of Grand Lake ranging west from Sailboat Bridge to the East Bay area.

Officers continue to search during the daylight hours. They are using boats, as well as GRDA helicopters to conduct the search.
