New information in the case of a young wife, accused of pushing her husband out a 25th story window, causing his death.
That 19-year old woman who is 8 months pregnant has been released on bond.
Amber Hilberling appeared before a judge this morning. Her bond was set at 250,000 dollars.
Michael Staley was Josh Hilberling’s best friend.
He says Josh and Amber had a whirlwind relationship, that later turned volatile.
"He called me and he was crying and told me that he was having a lot of issues with Amber and he said, Michael you know me, I'm a happy go lucky guy and I'm always in a good mood but I'm miserable being with her,” says Staley.
One incident in particular stands out to him.
"She picked up a lamp and hit him in the head with it, and it got swollen all over the side and put a massive gash right in his temple,” he says.
That incident prompted Josh to file a protective order.
Michael says Josh was like a big teddy bear, and would never hurt anyone, even if he was being attacked.
Other friends worried about her mental state.
"It definitely seemed like there was something wrong psychologically, because it would be back and forth, back and forth. She would be happy and then sad, she would be depressed and then angry,” says Jevon Williams.
Several calls to Amber's family were not returned.
