From the jogging trail to parking lots, women have been attacked all over Tulsa and one fitness center has promised to lend a helping hand to teach women to fight back. Nu Body Fitness, in co-operation with members of the Glenpool Police Department, is offering a free practical self-defense course for women living in the Tulsa area. The goal is to teach realistic, core self-defense techniques, as well as give women an added sense of empowerment.
The interactive class will be held at the Nu Body Fitness center located at 10032 South Sheridan Road in Tulsa, on two upcoming Saturdays. The first class will be Saturday September 28th, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. The second class will be October 14th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..
