Tulsa Police arrested four people they say tried to break into an East Tulsa elementary school.

It happened at Sandburg Elementary School near Admiral and South 193rd East Avenue. The school was closed under the Project Schoolhouse plan.  Officers responded to an alarm and found four people on the roof of the building.

The police report alleges the suspects got into the building through the HVAC system on the roof.  The report also alleges the suspects knocked holes in walls, sprayed a fire extinguisher over many items and cut wires to the alarm system.  Police say the suspects 20-year-old Joshua Tuell, 18-year-old Samuel Chapman, 18-year-old Scott Taylor and a juvenile suspect admitted to entering the school building, vandalizing the building and cutting surveillance wires.
